Dr. Erin E. Farrelly, MD

Dr. Farrelly is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in the care of muscles, bones and joints.  Dr. Farrelly subspecializes in orthopedic trauma, focusing on patients who have been injured.  She treats common injuries such as fractures, tendon tears and dislocations, as well as complex injuries, including pelvic fractures, malunions (fractures that have healed incorrectly) and patients with multiple injuries.

Dr. Farrelly is located in Orange County, CA. She sees a large number of patients who present to Western Medical Center.  Western Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons.  Hundreds of patients are seen each year at Western Medical Center after motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, falls and sports accidents.  Dr. Farrelly works with a highly-skilled trauma team including critical care surgeons, neurosurgeons, vascular and plastic surgeons, in order to address the medical needs of people who have experienced traumatic injuries.  Dr. Farrelly also sees patients for consultation in her office, adjacent to Western Medical Center.

As an accomplished female collegiate athlete and seven-time Boston marathon runner, Dr. Farrelly knows how important maintaining an active lifestyle is. She was inspired to enter the field of orthopedics by her own recovery from surgery, and is dedicated to helping her patients return to the activities that are most important to them.
