About Dr. Farrelly - Education

Dr. Farrelly earned honors while studying at George Washington University.  She remained at George Washington for medical school, where she graduated with distinction.  After medical school, she completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. This included training in pediatric orthopedics, joint reconstruction and upper extremity surgery.  She then attended an Orthopedic Traumatology fellowship at University of California San Diego.  This fellowship provided experience in caring for complex fractures, including pelvic fractures, articular fractures and nonunions. Dr. Farrelly received board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
